Wireless community networks (WCNs) or wireless community projects are organizations that take a grassroots approach to providing a viable alternative to municipal wireless networks for consumers. A community network is basically: A WIFI system that is run by the local people to fit their needs.
Key Components:

· Community Resources - Churches, community centers, semi-public spaces
· Sponsors (capital and knowledge)
